SBR Styrene-butadiene Rubber Compound

Product description

Styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), also known as polystyrene-butadiene copolymer. Its physical and mechanical properties, processing properties and product performance are close to natural rubber. The properties such as wear resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance and vulcanization speed are better than natural rubber. It can be used in combination with natural rubber and various synthetic rubbers. It is suitable for rubber products such as tires, tapes, hoses, wires and cables, medical devices, etc. SBR has good heat resistance, wear resistance and aging resistance. It is soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, toluene, gasoline, chloroform, etc. It has good storage stability and can be stored for several years in a dark place.

Application

It is the rubber with the highest production and consumption among all synthetic rubbers. It is mainly used in tires, conveyor belts, hoses, tapes, rubber shoes, wires and cables, sports equipment, seals, O-type hydraulic system seals, oil seals, rubber rollers, flame-retardant rubber rollers, shock absorbers, medical and food utensils, adhesives, foamed rubber, impregnated fibers and fabrics, and various other rubber products.

Advantages

Excellent physical properties Excellent wear resistance Good electrical insulation Good elasticity
