Rubber Compounds

CR Chloroprene Rubber Compound

Product description

Chloroprene rubber (CR) is a synthetic rubber made from chloroprene monomers through an emulsion polymerization process. Chloroprene rubber blends are composite materials made by adding various fillers, plasticizers, vulcanizers, stabilizers and other auxiliary materials to chloroprene rubber, and mixing them in precise proportions and high-temperature internal mixers. This mixture is a semi-finished product for manufacturing various rubber products, and its uniformity and processing properties have a decisive influence on the quality of the final product.

Application

Chloroprene rubber compound are widely used in many fields due to their unique properties. It is often used to manufacture oil-resistant, chemical-resistant, and heat-resistant seals, hoses, tapes, protective clothing, cable sheaths, adhesives, and waterproof and sound-proof materials for construction. In addition, it is also used for vibration damping elements in the automotive industry and protective coatings in the shipbuilding industry.

Advantages

Excellent oil and chemical resistance: Chloroprene rubber blends have good resistance to oils and a variety of chemicals and are suitable for environments exposed to oils and chemicals.

Good heat resistance: The mixture can still maintain its physical properties at high temperatures and is suitable for high temperature conditions.

Weather resistance: The chloroprene rubber mixture has good UV and ozone resistance, suitable for outdoor use.

Flame retardancy: Neoprene itself has flame retardant properties, making its mixture very useful in occasions where fire safety is required.

Mechanical properties: The mixture provides good tensile strength, tear strength and abrasion resistance, ensuring the durability of the product.
