Rubber Compounds

Natural Rubber Compound

Product description

Natural rubber is an elastic hydrocarbon isoprene polymer that exists in the form of an emulsion when unprocessed, called latex. 91% to 94% of its composition is rubber hydrocarbons (cis-1,4-polyisoprene), and the rest is non-rubber substances such as proteins, fatty acids, ash and sugars.

Since polyisoprene can be synthesized, polyisoprene produced in this way is also called “synthetic natural rubber”, or IR (isoprene rubber), which is very similar to natural rubber, so it can be used to make tires and other applications, including latex products, footwear, belts, hoses and condoms.

Application

Rain boots, warm water bags, elastic bands used in daily life; surgical gloves, tourniquets, condoms used in the medical and health industry; various tires used in transportation; industrial conveyor belts, conveyor belts, acid and alkali resistant gloves; sounding balloons for meteorological measurements; sealing and shockproof equipment for scientific experiments.

Advantages

  • High elasticity and high viscosity
  • High green strength and tear strength
  • Low hysteresis and high elongation
  • High green strength and low tensile modulus
  • Transparent and bright colors
  • Good water resistance and electrical insulation
